A fertile imagination?

Introduction

I was following Falouk, the falcon given to me by my grandfather, when it started getting restless... for a few seconds, I think I saw through its eyes, I swear... There was an enormous bear, with shaggy hair as hard as steel, that was mangling half a dozen lambs. I was looking down the scene from above, as though I was in the sky, and the monster never seemed to notice my presence... No, you don't believe me either, just like uncle Soliden... You all think I was dreaming, or that I invented this story to avoid admitting I ran away.
