A whiff of nostalgia

Last week I was searching through the books of Albert Sharpsnout, the founder of my line, and I discovered his research on the Therians. He wrote that the mages of the first colony could use foggy pearls to channel the therianic energy and transform themselves into animals. My ancestor also mentioned that there were some places where it was possible to summon spirits, or creatures, wandering somewhere between the world of reality and the world of the dead. In my opinion it's just a lot of nonsense, but I always loved the naivety of the people of the first colony. I think I would have loved to live at that time. However, on one of Albert's manuscripts there was a diagram, showing dance steps that could be used to summon these ''spirits''. My ancestor died in a glorious battle in the Silver Mountains, and in his near-death delirium, he talked about men with wolf faces.
