Where I come from in the area of Parakonia, we have a tradition that I found rather pleasant. We call it the great outstretched hands tour. Briefly, it is about meeting families in your area and providing them essential commodities as gifts. In return, they will offer you pies or candies. It is a way to tell you they appreciate your gift, but that they are able support themselves. If you do not receive treats, it indicates that the family actually has money problems. I explain this tradition to you because I intend to popularize it in the north of the continent. So if you ever feel like it, while traveling Hawkoria, the Lanfar or Norstria, knock on doors and offer food. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised by the people's welcome.
