At first glance, the ingredients of a beer seem rather simple: water, malt, hops and yeast. If it was that simple, all ales would have the same taste. For example Lanfarian barley doesn't have the same characteristics as those from Hawkoria. You therefore study all the components used by the brewers and you take notes.
