You accept the guards' invitation to play knucklebones and dice. While ensuring you lose more than you earn, which is sometimes difficult, you collect a few interesting pieces of information. For example, you learn that most of the soldiers are in fact poorly trained volunteers. However, some Dukes like to accompany the militia on their patrols. When this happens, the troops become more watchful, more disciplined, and more difficult to bribe.
