When you arrive in the area a handful of men and women, with somber faces disfigured by pain, are talking together in low voices. You manage to get the gist of their conversation, however. They want to take the fort, kidnap Saskia, and serve her with their version of justice. You puff up your chest, gather all your courage, and approach them to tell them the story of the doekin. As you might have expected, your story didn't move them at all. However, they calmed down enough for you to negotiate some compensation with them. They also agreed to wait for the end of Saskia's trial before taking action.
