Once you open the chest, a light from the inside causes you to step back. A few seconds after the blazing glare you look inside. A handful of glowing eels seem to have made a nest. Under them you find a letter explaining that the treasure is the courage that has always been in you. You give the chest a kick in anger, rocking it, allowing you to find several valuable objects.
